“Ernie” arrived on the Leicester Junior College campus in the fall of 1958 from Hartford, Connecticut. He served as Sophomore Class Treasurer, was a member of the Gold Key Society, International Honor Society and Student Council, and played on the tennis team.
He returned to Connecticut after graduating and worked for more than 30 years at the Frasse-Bassett Steel Co. He retired to Stuart, FL, where he has lived for over 35 years. During his retirement, Ernie has traveled extensively in the U.S. and Europe, and also enjoys time at his apartment in Portugal. Because, according to Ernie, “Leicester Junior College filled a void in my life,” he made a very generous six-figure planned gift to Becker College.
